Purchase wintergreen oil at a health food store and put a few drops on a cotton towel to stash in plants or decorative vases around your house.

Make Your Own Air Freshener
Mix one cup of baking soda and one tablespoon of scented oil or extract. Slowly add 16 cups of warm water. To use, shake well and pour into a spray container. Mist air as needed.
